Something Bigger Than Us

When we first sat together in a café dreaming up FeMale, we had so many ideas for things we wanted to make. We also talked about the kind of business we wanted to build. We hoped it could bring something good into the lives of people beyond our atelier.

That wish has stayed with us. Alongside making porcelain jewellery and ceramics, we look for ways to support people and small projects close to home. Sometimes a little help, given at the right moment, can mean a great deal.

Over the years, we have supported a young man who collects litter in Košice in his free time, mothers going through difficult circumstances and a family after the loss of a loved one. We have also helped a local organisation supporting children who have lost a parent, and a boy living with a disability.

These are causes that have touched us personally. We set aside part of what FeMale earns to help where we can, and we hope to keep doing so as our little business grows.
